Fashion Textiles and Product (60 credit points, full year)
Module Leader: Julia Kininmonth The module includes developing your knowledge of garment and fabric technology. There are workshops to understand how garments are constructed and how the technology is used to make them. The background behind the performance and properties of textiles and clothing

Fashion Management and Marketing (40 credits, full year)
Module Leader: Felicity Walker This module covers the development of an understanding of the global fashion supply chain and retail marketing. You learn about the Buying Life Cycle and how the roles within the design, manufacture and retail of fashion work together to bring a product to the market. You will also develop a knowledge of consumer behaviour, management and marketing. In the individual and team assignments you will develop your ability to present and communicate information in a professional manner. Assessments:

Time Constrained Assignment
Design and Visual communication (20 Credits, full year)
This module involves the development of fashion design skills through learning the different elements of Adobe Photoshop. This includes developing skills around visual communication, layout and image manipulation. The knowledge of how to use Photoshop will also be useful for fashion forecasting and trend boards in the future.
